Obituaries

Wendy Barber Sullivan, age 53, of Leonards Fork Church Road, Crouse died Saturday, January 25, 2020.

Her funeral service will be held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Meg Gaston officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Warlick Funeral Home.

Wendy was born on September 12, 1966 and was the daughter of Pearl Louise Phillips Barber and the late William Fred Barber, Sr..  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gene Allen Sullivan, Sr. and her daughter, Nicole Sullivan.  Wendy worked as a CNA for 21 years at Brian Center Health & Retirement in Lincolnton.

She is survived by her daughter, Aimee Garcia and husband, Martin of Crouse; her son, Gene Sullivan, Jr. of Linwood; two grandchildren, Carmen and Gabriel Garcia; her mother, Pearl Barber of Linwood; her brother, William Barber and wife, Mary of Silver Valley; three sisters, Melissa Moppin and husband, David of Linwood, Becky Eastman and husband Lynn of New York and Heidi Reynolds and husband, Dale of New York, and numerous nieces and nephews.
