JoAnn Biggerstaff Cook

JoAnn Biggerstaff Cook, age 77, of Brook Hollow Road in Crouse, died on Wednesday, January 22, 2020.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 26, 2020, at South River Baptist Church with Rev. James Cape and Rev. Larry Chapman officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. at the church.

Mrs. Cook was born September 18, 1942, in Cleveland County, to the late Frank Biggerstaff and Lounette Parker Smith.  In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Cook, and step-father, Paul Smith.

She is survived by three sons, David Clark (Elaine) of Mt. Holly, Teddy Clark (Pam) of Newton, and Chris Clark of Crouse; a daughter, Sherry Ingle of Lincolnton; two brothers, Mike Smith (Sandy) of Lincolnton, and Doug Smith (Joyce) of Vale; a sister, Faye Painter (Dale) of Pumpkin Center; grandchildren, JoAnna Ingle and Frankie Ingle; great-grandchildren, Tony Ingle, Brianna Ingle, Michael Castillo, Brandon Castillo, Lindsay Hannah, Jayden Hannah, Zack Hannah, Sydney Hannah, and Scarlett Hannah; and one great-great-grandchild, Liam Josiah Wood.

Memorials may be made to Community Full Gospel Church, Highway 321 Business, Lincolnton, NC  28092.
