Charles "Bo" Coleman Armstrong

Charles “Bo” Coleman Armstrong, age 79, of Randleman Road in Iron Station, died on Thursday, January 9, 2020.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. David Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. at the church.
“Bo” was born April 3, 1940, in Lincoln County, to the late Chester Charles Armstrong and Lilly Irene Lineberger. He worked as a truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Hallman Armstrong of the home; a daughter, Debbie Armstrong Day, and husband Joey, of Iron Station; a sister, Dean A. Sain of Iron Station; two grandchildren, Kendra D. Jackson and husband Jerrod, and Tyler Day; and one great-grandchild, Noelle Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Sharon Baptist Church, 2388 NC Highway 73, Iron Station, NC 28080.
