Mary Elizabeth "Beth" Austin Beam

Mary Elizabeth “Beth” Austin Beam, age 83, of Lincolnton, died on Monday, January 6, 2020.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020, at Cedar Grove Lutheran Church with Pastor Dale Pederson officiating. A reception will follow the service.
Beth was born September 13, 1936, in Lincoln County, to the late C.A. Austin and Marie Hoffman Austin. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Jim Austin, and companion, Mr. Blaine Wyne. She worked in textiles.
Beth is survived by a daughter, Penni Marie Beam of Cherryville; sons, Ricky Austin Beam (Carol) of Wadesboro, Michael Kemp Beam (Tracey Montgomery) of Stedman, NC, and Terry Scott Beam (Sherri) of Lincolnton; sister-in-law, Rachel Austin; twelve grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and fur baby, Aria Marie Beam of the home.
