Marshall “Bob” Stewart Ramseur, Jr., age 91, of Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, October 22, 2019.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 25, 2019, in Hollybrook Cemetery.
“Bob” was born August 13, 1928, in Lincoln County, to the late Marshall Stewart Ramseur, Sr. and Eleanor Cotton Ramseur. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, James Ramseur. He served in the United States Navy and then later was the owner/operator of Bob’s Sandwich Shop.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Alice Carpenter Ramseur of the home; a son, Stewart Ramseur of Denver; a daughter, Suzanne Ramseur Ballard of the home; two grandchildren, Philip Simmons, and wife Terri, of Shelby, and Will Simmons of California; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
