Alma Louise Fish
( March 21, 1920 - September 27, 2019 )

Mrs. Alma Louise Fish formerly, of Buffalo Shoals Road, Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2019 at 99 years young.  She was born and raised in Lincolnton, NC and even lived on family land her entire life.  She made the best coconut cake and loved quilting, even gifting many to her family and friends over the years.

She was the only daughter of six children born to Miles and Lillie Bumgarner Shrum.  She is predeceased by her loving, doting husband, Thurman W. Fish, and four brothers, Marshall Shrum, Cecil Shrum, Rev. David Shrum and Benjamin Shrum.  She is survived by one brother, Dwight Shrum.

She was the very proud mother of one son, Ronald William Fish and his wife Lynn, of Marietta, GA.  She has two granddaughters, Terri Fish of Alexandria, VA and Amy Rhoades and her husband David, of Marietta, GA, as well as two great-grandchildren, Erica and Brian.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at St. Matthews Reformed Church-United Church of Christ with Rev. John Barnette officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at Warlick Funeral Home.

The Fish family would like to thank the Brian Center for the excellent care given to Alma for the past 12 years.
