Laura Mae Mincy Sain

Laura Mae Mincy Sain, age 101 of Lincolnton, went to her Eternal Home on Wednesday, September 25, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019, at Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church, 520 S. Madison Street in Lincolnton, with Rev. Avery White officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the church.
Laura Mae was born August 15, 1918, in Lincoln County, to the late Lester L. Mincy and Sally Houser Mincy. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lester Moore Sain; son-in-law, Ray Wilkerson; brothers, Russell “Red” Mincy and William Mincy; and sister-in-law, Madeline Mincy.
Leaving behind are her daughters, Leslie Costner (Bob) of Lincolnton, Bobbie Wilkerson of Concord, and Dianne Steele (Tim) of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Leslie Ann Costner Davis (Mark), Stephanie Costner Proctor, Greg Costner (Denise), Patrick Wilkerson (Dari), Barbara Wilkerson, Anna Leigh Wilkerson, Lynn Wilkerson, Eva Wilkerson Zigler (Ron), Chris Kindley (Angie), and Susan Warlick (Wesley); seventeen great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Rhyne Heights United Methodist Church, 520 S. Madison Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
