Joe Michael Brewington, age 63, of Long Shoals Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, July 25, 2019.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 28, 2019, at Landers Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Meg Gaston and Rev. Gerald Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service.
Mr. Brewington was born September 25, 1955, in Lincoln County, to the late Charles and Dorothy Garner Brewington. He worked as a lineman for Williams Electric.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Carpenter Brewington of the home; two daughters, Avie Parker, and husband Todd, and Amanda Workman, all of Lincolnton; and two grandchildren, Victoria Landers and Riley Parker.
