Carolyn Ann Drum Walker
( October 23, 1945 - July 17, 2019 )
Carolyn Ann Drum Walker, age 73, of E. Highway 150 in Lincolnton, went to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Marcus Redding officiating. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 19, 2019, at Salem Baptist Church.
Mrs. Walker was born October 23, 1945, in Lincoln County, to the late Pinkney and Bertie Painter Drum. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Teresa Walker Isenhour; and a granddaughter, Tabitha Morrison. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Walker, of the home; a son, Tommy Walker, and wife Lori, of Lincolnton; two daughters, Michelle Peeler, and husband Jeff, of Iron Station, and Tammy Morrison, and husband Mark, of Lincolnton; a brother, James Drum of Lincolnton; four sisters, Judy Rudisill of Maiden, Pansy Sherrill of Vale, Alice Canipe of Maiden, and Janet Bridges of Denver; seven grandchildren, Angela, Crystal, Derek, Matt, Chris, and Cameron; and three great-grandchildren, Mya, Landon, and Cole.
Memorials may be made to Salem Baptist Church, Building Fund, 1982 Salem Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
