Emily Yvonne Goodman Canipe

Emily Yvonne Goodman Canipe, age 65, of Home Trail in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, June 19, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 21, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jon Mann officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2019, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Canipe was born August 9, 1953, in Catawba County, to the late Vernie and Virginia Campbell Goodman. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, Roger and Jimmy Goodman; and a sister, Gloria Dean. She worked in healthcare.
Surviving her are her husband, Larry Canipe of the home; a son, Mark Canipe of Lincolnton; a daughter, Melissa Stouffer, and husband David, of Lincolnton; a sister, Connie Silva of Lincolnton; a brother, Tommy Goodman of Gastonia; a grandson, Nathan Stouffer; numerous nieces and nephews; and special caregiver, Loretta Hodge.
Memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation of North Carolina, 933 Louise Avenue, Suite 101B, Charlotte, NC 28204.
