Margie Hallman Gales Heafner

Margie Hallman Gales Heafner, age 94, of Joe Ross Street in Lincolnton, died on Friday, June 7, 2019.
Ms. Heafner will be laid to rest at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019, at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A memorial service will follow at 3:00 p.m. on Monday at River View Baptist Church with Rev. Ricky Brown officiating. The family will greet friends following the service.
Margie was born February 6, 1925, in Lincoln County, the last of ten children, to the late Ernest W. Hallman and Fannie Armstrong Hallman. She was preceded in death by her first husband, J.D. Gales; her second husband, Hall Heafner; and a daughter, Becky Faye Gales High. She worked for Carolina Mills.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Jeffrey High and Lorrie High; and a son-in-law, Lewis High.
Memorials may be made to River View Baptist Church 2230 Riverview Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
