Carlisle H. Robbins

Carlisle H. Robbins, age 93, of Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center, and formerly of Iron Station, died on Monday, June 3, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, June 7, 2019, at Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center.
Carlisle was born February 20, 1925, in Cherokee County, South Carolina, to the late Henry Mack Robbins and Alma Lavender Robbins. He served in the United States Navy during World War II, and then later worked as a radar chief for the FAA.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Smith Robbins of the home; two sons, Wayne Robbins, and wife Margie, of Iron Station, and Ernie Robbins of Lincolnton; and a grandson, Jeremy Robbins.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
