Ralph Marshall Elmore, Sr.

Ralph Marshall Elmore, Sr., age 83, of Pleasant Grove Church Road in Crouse, died on Thursday, May 23, 2019.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, 2019, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Crouse with Pastor Rick Sloop officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m.
Ralph was born August 14, 1935, in Lincoln County, to the late Marshall and Pauline McGinnis Elmore. He retired from Carolina Freight Carriers after 30 years of service.
He is survived by his wife, Claudean Haynes Elmore of the home; a son, Ralph M. Elmore, Jr. of Crouse; a sister, JoAnn Meeks of Crouse; his canine companion, Charlie; his feline companion, Biddy Bit;and a number of nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, PO Box 131, Crouse, NC 28033.
