James Todd Talbert

James Todd Talbert, age 51, of Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center, died on Tuesday, May 14, 2019.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alan Wheeler. Burial will follow in the Sharon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Warlick Funeral Home.
James was born August 7, 1967, in Lincoln County, to the late Jesse Grier Talbert and Patricia Ward Talbert. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Donna Jean Clark Talbert; and a brother, Kerry Talbert. He worked as an electrician.
He is survived by two sons, James “Andy” Talbert of Lincolnton, and Cory Todd Talbert of Newton; a grandson, Charles James “Todd” Talbert; two sisters, Cathy Houser (Bryan) of Vale, and Louann Franz (Joe) of Lincoln; four brothers, Gary Grahl (Darlene), and Terry Talbert (Alice), all of Iron Station, Bobby Talbert (Mickey), of Hickory, and Michael Talbert (Shaye), of Newton; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
