Imogene Clanton
( February 9, 1942 - May 8, 2019 )
Imogene Clanton, 77, of Lincolnton, NC, passed away peacefully at her home on Wednesday, May 8, 2019, with her family by her side.  Imogene fought a long hard battle with COPD and cancer.  She now is at home with her Savior Jesus Christ.

Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Spencer and Rev. Dustin Roberts officiating.  Burial will follow in the Webbs Chapel Baptist Church cemetery.  The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:45 until 2:45 p.m. at the funeral home.

Imogene was born February 9, 1942, to the late David R. Clanton and Hattie V. Clanton.  Imogene was a precious mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She was a member of Webbs Chapel Baptist Church in Lincolnton.  Imogene retired from Emerson Leather in Hickory with 21 years of service.  Imogene was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie A. Carver; sister, Betty L. Moody; and brother, David R. Clanton, Jr.  

She is survived by two sons, Daniel Woodie, and wife Melanie, of Lincolnton, and Michael Woodie, and wife Sherri, of Gastonia; a sister, Patricia V. Carpenter; eight grandchildren, Amy Patterson, and husband Walter, Dustin Roberts, and wife Julia, Keith Woodie, Josh Roberts, and wife Amy, Ashley Woodie, Starr Tate, Eric Tate, and Kassie Woodie; and three great-grandchildren, Nathaniel Patterson, Natalie Patterson, and Noah Roberts.
