Ethel Carpenter Avery, age 77, of 120 Legionnaire Road in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, April 18, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2019, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Fredell officiating. Burial will follow in Luthers Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Avery was born May 4, 1941, in Lincoln County. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her husband, Donald Wilson Avery of the home; a number of nieces and nephews; and sisters-in-law, Barbara Jean Black and Betty Avery, both of Lincolnton.
