Ella Viola Cole Merck, age 74, of Bob Cook Road in Maiden, died on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the home of her daughter, Kimberly Williams, at 265 Bob Cook Road in Maiden.
Ms. Merck was born November 10, 1944, in Union County, South Carolina, to the late John William Cole and Ruby Hall Cole. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by two daughters, Kimberly Williams of Lincolnton, and Rhonda Holland, and husband Drew, of Taylorsville; two brothers, John Cole, Jr., and Mike Cole, and wife Billie Jean, all of Lincolnton; a sister, June Parker of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Ronald Chapman, III, and wife Rachel, of Vale, and Jada Mayo, and fiancé Caleb Ramseur, of Lincolnton; and one great-granddaughter, Treasure Hope Chapman.
