David Lee Schrum, age 56, of Car Farm Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, February 27, 2019.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2019, at McKendree United Methodist Church with Rev. Gregg Plott officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. in the fellowship hall.
David was born October 24, 1962, in Lincoln County, to Kenneth Flint and Jane Reinhardt Schrum. He worked as a letter carrier for USPS.
He is survived by a son, Kevin Lee Schrum of Lincolnton; his parents, Kenneth and Jane Schrum of Lincolnton; two brothers, Alan Schrum of Stanley and Michael Schrum of Maiden; and two nephews, Jared and Jesse Schrum.
