Mary Maxine Setzer Rhyne
( December 27, 1929 - February 23, 2019 )
Mary Maxine Setzer Rhyne, age 89, of Cardinal Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Lincolnton and formerly of High Shoals went home to be with Jesus Saturday, February 23, 2019.
Her funeral will be held 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at the First Baptist Church of High Shoals with Rev. Doug McClain and Rev. Charles Ingle officiating. Burial will follow in the High Shoals Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Tuesday at the First Baptist Church of High Shoals.
Mrs. Rhyne was born on December 27, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Boyce Vernon Setzer and Bryte Mincey Setzer. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Marshall J. Rhyne of 61 years, her sister, Bernice Setzer Cloninger and a brother, Franklin Setzer. She Loved the Lord, her family and always served others in many ways.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Wanda Rhyne Bowen (Ron) and Pam Rhyne Crotts (Gary); grandchildren, Wendi Bowen Edison (Chris), Matthew R. Bowen (Carolina), Lori Crotts Ware (Kelly), Jennifer Crotts Cutter; great-grandchildren, Payton Edison, Amelia Edison, Maximiliano Bowen, Gabriela Bowen, Emma Ware, Mary Claire Ware, Maddie Cutter and Ben Cutter; and a sister, Pauline Cloninger Goins.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092 and also a special thanks to Cardinal Healthcare for her tender and loving care.
