Dorothy Margaret Nesselrotte O'Brien

Dorothy Margaret Nesselrotte O’Brien, age 86, of 1289 Brookhaven Drive in Lincolnton, died on Friday, February 22, 2019.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Scott Shoffner officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 24, 2019, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. O’Brien was born July 22, 1932, in Jackson County, West Virginia, to the late John Wesley Nesselrotte and Effie Rhodes Nesselrotte. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gordon O’Brien.
She is survived by a son, James O’Brien, and wife Teresa, of Lincolnton; two daughters, Patricia O’Brien Crouch of Northern Virginia, and Brenda O’Brien Brooks, and husband Bobby, of Granite Falls; a sister, Dora Ruth Lawhon of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Michael Brooks, Laura Barnes (Mark), Jason O’Brien (Trisha), and Jaclyn Nicholson (James); twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
