Sharon Lynette Lynch, age 63 of Hickory, died on Monday, December 31, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Kelly Whitener and Rev. Rickie Helms, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Ms. Lynch was born November 4, 1955 in Lincoln County to Emma Goodson Lynch and the late Carlton Bryan Lynch. She was Chief Financial Officer for Catawba County before retiring after 30 years of employment with them. Ms. Lynch was a lifelong member of Ivey Memorial United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her mother, Emma Goodson Lynch of Maiden; two brothers, Ken Lynch and wife Jan of Lincolnton and Rex Lynch and wife Barbara of Maiden; two nephews, Rex Lynch, Jr., and Bryan Lynch; one niece, Carla Helms.
