Hazeline Warren

Hazeline “Hazel” Poovey Warren, age 98, of the Brian Center, Lincolnton died Wednesday, December 26, 2018.
Her funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Boger City Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Bigham officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 12:45 p.m. Saturday, prior to the funeral at Boger City Baptist Church.
Mrs. Warren was born on December 1, 1920 and was the daughter of the late William and Verna Abernethy Poovey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Elmore Warren, her son, Rodney Warren, three brothers and one sister. Mrs. Warren retired from Joe & Jim’s Grocery in Lincolnton.
She is survived by one son, Bill Warren and wife, Kay of Lincolnton; one sister, Betty Glasson of N. Fort Myers, Florida; her daughter-in-law, Penny Warren of Lincolnton; five grandchildren, Will Warren and wife, Nori; Stacy McClain and husband, Shaun, Derrick Warren and wife, Mary, Michael Warren and wife, Gail, and Matthew Warren and wife, Laura; three great-grandchildren, Kynleigh Warren, Caleb Warren and Sophia Warren, and her special friend, Maddie Baxter..
Memorials may be made to Boger City Baptist Church, 2201 East Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
