Rita Joy Rhyne Correll
( January 12, 1947 - December 14, 2018 )
Rita Joy Rhyne Correll, age 71, of 2265 Story Street, Lincolnton died December 14, 2018.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Boger City Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Bigham officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at Boger City Baptist Church.

Mrs. Correll was born on January 12, 1947 to the late Marion Franklin Rhyne and Ruby Self Rhyne.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ray Von Correll, her brother, Jerry Rhyne and her son-in-law, Robbie Smith.  Mrs.  Correll  retired as a Teacher Assistant with the Lincoln County School System.

She is survived by one son, Derek Corell (Kathi), of Huntersville, NC; one daughter, Krista C. Smith of Shelby, NC; two grandchildren, Jaelyn Smith and Maylee Smith.
