Sandra Faye McSwain McClain, age 73, of 3147 Sandiwood Court in Claremont, died on Wednesday, December 12, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 16, 2018, at David Memorial Baptist Church with Pastor Joey Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 15, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Sandra was born April 27, 1945, in Gaffney, South Carolina, to the late Edward and Dorothy Blanton McSwain. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two sons, Paul Edward Bumgarner and Madison Shawn Dallas, and a daughter, Dorothy Helen Bumgarner. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Tench of Lincolnton and Debra Lynn Kelly (Daniel Scott) of Claremont; a brother, Terry McSwain of Lincolnton; a sister, Linda Pridmore (Johnny) of Lincolnton; five grandsons, Wesley Dean Tench, James Daniel Tench, Joshua Blaine Bumgarner (Kathy McKinney), Christopher Lee Tench, and Daniel Dalton Kelly; two great-grandchildren, Nathen Alexander Lee Bumgarner, Khloe Rose Jenelle Bumgarner; two step-grandchildren, Jonathon Lee Kelly and Amanda Renee Kelly; four step-great-grandchildren, Addison Ronzo, Rhylee Ronzo, Cyrus Ronzo, and Rylin Ronzo; and son-in-law, James Ricky Tench of Catawba.
