Betty Frances Berrhill Smith

Betty Frances Berryhill Smith, age 82, of Wyant Road, Vale, NC died Saturday, October 27, 2018.
Her funeral will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Crowell Memorial United Methodist Church with Rev. Freida Hobson and Rev. Shawn Berryhill officiating. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8: 00 p.m. Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Smith was born on December 9, 1935 and was the daughter of the late Alfred Pinkney and Lillie Mae Reep Berryhill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Hayden Edward Smith, two brothers, Jerry Lee Berryhill and Johnny Daniel Berryhill and one sister, Peggy B. Gilbert. Mrs. Smith was retired from Ethan Allen.
She is survived by three brothers, William “Bill” Berryhill of Lincolnton, Luther Franklin Berryhill of Vale and James Edward Berryhill of Vale; one sister, Dora Mae B. Moose of Maiden and a number of nieces and nephews.
