Mallie Mae Grigg Lawing

Mattie Mae Grigg Lawing, age 92, of Highway 150 West in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, October 11, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randall Phillips and Dr. Richard King officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Mrs. Lawing was born December 30, 1925, in Catawba County, to the late Lee and Lena Costner Grigg. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Gaither Lawing. She retired from J.P. Stevens where she worked as a cloth inspector.
She is survived by a sister, Bessie Byrd of Pigeon Forge, TN; and a number of nieces and nephews.
