Ray Von Correll

Mr. Ray Von Correll, age 75, of Story Street in Lincolnton, died on Friday, September 28, 2018.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018, at Boger City Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Bigham officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Monday prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Correll was born August 18, 1943 in Lincoln County, to the late Clyde and Cleo Bradshaw Correll. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son in law, Robbie Smith. Mr. Correll worked for Duke Power as a pipe fitter.
He is survived by his wife, Joy Rhyne Correll of the home; one son Derek Correll and wife Kathi of Sherrills Ford; one daughter, Krista C. Smith of Shelby; one brother, Jimmy Correll and wife Sandy of Florida; three sisters, Rose Huckle and husband Stewart of Alexis, Cheryl Wiley of Alexis and Katherine Addison and husband Larry of Eden; two grandchildren Jaelyn and Maylee Smith of Shelby.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Lincoln County, 900 Dontia Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
