Sharon Faulkenbury Blackwood, age 62, of Woodgate Road in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, August 29, 2018.
Sharon was born August 13, 1956, in Lincoln County, to the late Donald Lamarr Faulkenbury and Mary Ruth Humphries Cole. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a son; Daniel Blackwood, and a brother, Chris Faulkenbury. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by Dale Detter of the home; a daughter, Crystal Fredell, and husband Kenny, of Lincolnton; one son, Stanley Blackwood, and wife April, of Lincolnton; a brother, Gary Faulkenbury of Lincolnton; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Services are being planned to be held at a later date at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Lincolnton.
