Sammy Kaye Griffin, age 61, of Old Lincolnton-Crouse Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, August 27, 2018.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Friday, August 31, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tim Conner officiating.
Sammy was born August 15, 1957, in Knoxville, Tennessee, to the late Samuel Joseph Griffin, Jr. and Kathrine Elder Griffin. He worked as a truck driver for 25 years, and was a loving brother and soulmate.
He is survived by a brother, Joe Griffin, and wife Tori, of Dallas; a niece, Wendy Goudelock, and family, of Dallas; a nephew, Dr. Jody Griffin, and family, of Knoxville, TN; and his partner and soulmate, Valerie Kim Seagle of Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Lincoln County, PO Box 23, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
