Doris White Bowlin

Doris White Bowlin, age 88, of Cardinal Health Care in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, July 11, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 16, 2018, at Mt. View Baptist Church with Rev. Matthew Seagle officiating. Her body will lie in state 30 minutes prior to the service. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bowlin was born February 3, 1930, in Marion, North Carolina, to the late Arthur Ray and Addie Goode White. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Junior “Bug” Bowlin. She worked for JP Stevens.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Bowlin of Maiden; a son, Roger Dale Bowlin, and Jamie, of Denver; one grandson, Johnathan Lee Bowlin, and wife Tracy, of Mt. Holly; one great-grandson, Zachery Bowlin; one brother, Jerry Von White, and wife Laureen, of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. View Baptist Church Building Fund, 5045 E. Maiden Road, Maiden, NC 28650.
