Ray Wilson Matthew

Ray Wilson Matthew, age 74, of 590 Cedar Grove Church Road, Vale died Sunday, May 13, 2018.
His funeral will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Bethphage Lutheran Church with Pastor Fred Mitschke officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service in the Bethphage Lutheran Church Family Life Center.
Mr. Matthew was born on August 2, 1943 and was the son of the late Craig Matthew and Pearl Coffey. He was the owner and operator of D & A Cleaning Service.
Mr. Matthew is survived by two daughters, Donna Owens and husband, Sunset of Lincolnton and Amanda Jenkins and husband , Chad of Lincolnton; three grandchildren, Michael Lingerfelt, Jessica Lingerfelt and April Lingerfelt; great-granddaughter, Payton Black; his former spouse, Diane Matthew of Lincolnton; his dog, Jack.
Memorials may be made to the Robin Johnson House, 5005 Shepards Way Drive, Dallas, NC 28034 or to Bethphage Lutheran Church, 3440 Highway 182, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
