Carolyn Jean Hartman Stroupe
( March 9, 1947 - April 30, 2018 )
Carolyn Jean Stroupe, age 71, of Lincolnton, went to her Heavenly home on Monday, April 30, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ethan Drum officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.
Born March 9, 1947, in Charlotte she was the daughter of the late Billie and J.D. Hartman. She was preceded in death by her older brother, Larry Hartman. The most important things in life were her faith in God and her family.
Left to forever cherish her memory are husband, Rick Stroupe of Lincolnton; two sons, Todd Stroupe, and Stephen Stroupe, and wife Tina, of Lincolnton; two granddaughters, Kristina Stroupe, and fiancé Richie Owenby, of Lincolnton, and Maeleigh Stroupe of Lincolnton; two sisters, Midge Barress, and husband Bob, of Canton, OH, and Lisa Tapia of Canton, OH; one brother, David Hartman of Canton, OH; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Loving and kind in all her ways upright and just to the end of her days; sincere and true, in her heart and mind, beautiful memories she left behind.
