James Moore, age 78, of Gaston Street in Lincolnton, died on Thursday, April 26, 2018.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 4, 2018, at Forest Lawn Cemetery with Rev. Kenny Nash officiating.
Mr. Moore was born April 12, 1940, in Selma, Alabama, to the late Calvin Banks and Velma Callen. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Morton Moore. He worked in maintenance.
He is survived by his children, Patricia Carson, Jacqueline Jordan, Jessie Moore, and Rodney Moore, all of New York, and Ricky Moore of High Point; three sisters, Amanda Callen-Williams, Velma Sadie Carter, and Ollie Braxton; eleven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
