Patricia Ann Ward Talbert
( July 30, 1940 - April 4, 2018 )
Patricia Ann Ward Talbert, age 77, of Lincolnton Rehabilitation Center, and formerly of Camp Creek Road in Iron Station, died on Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. David Walker, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Talbert was born July 30, 1940, in Lincoln County, to the late Miles Rush Ward and Nettie Benfield ward. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Grier Talbert and three brothers, Ralph Ward, Bud Ward, and Larry Ward. She retired from Technibuilt.
She is survived by five sons, Terry Lee Talbert, and partner Alice Abernethy, of Iron Station, Bobby Ray Talbert, and partner Mickey Price, of Hickory, James Todd Talbert of Lincolnton, Michael Shane Talbert, and wife Shaye, of Newton, and Gary Grahl, and wife Darlene, of Iron Station; two daughters, Cathy Talbert Houser, and husband Bryan, of Vale, and Louann Talbert Franz, and husband Joe, of Maiden; two brothers, Gearld Ward and Seibert Ward, both of Iron Station; three sisters, Judy McCombee, Brenda Nantz, and Sandy Linder, all of Iron Station; seventeen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
