Annie Mae Smith Daves

Annie Mae Smith Daves, age 88, of Lincolnton, died on Monday, April 2, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Lincolnton Church of God with Rev. Ron Martin and Rev. Joey Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The body will lie in state for thirty minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Lincolnton Church of God.
Mrs. Daves was born March 10, 1930, to the late Oscar P. and Cora Lee Denton Smith. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Daves, and a son, Dennis Lee Daves. She was a seamstress.
She is survived by a daughter, Dana Norman, and husband Jerry, of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Dennis A. Norman, Teddy L. Norman, and wife Chastidy, Cory Norman, and wife Amber, and April V. Norman; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catawba Regional Hospice, 3975 Robinson Road, Newton, NC 28658.
