Ella Mae Byers Ramsey

Ella Mae Byers Ramsey, age 83, of Old Lincolnton-Crouse Road, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Highland Drive Free Will Baptist Church with Rev. Luke Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Highland Drive Free Will Baptist Church.
Mrs. Ramsey was born June 3, 1934, in Gaston County, to the late Carl E. and Sarah Carpenter Byers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lorance Ramsey, and two brothers, Claude E. Byers and John E. Byers. Mrs. Ramsey loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and was a member of Highland Drive Free Will Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Donald Eric Ramsey, and wife Lori, of Kings Mountain and Timothy Chris Ramsey of Crouse; three sisters, Isabell Faulkner of Lincolnton, Katie Williams of Cherryville, and Katherine Keever of Lincolnton; and two grandsons, Jonathan Stanley Ramsey and David Christian Ramsey of Kings Mountain.
Memorials may be made to Highland Drive Free Will Baptist Church, 2810 Highland Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
