Jo Reta Love Vansickle
( October 21, 1935 - March 26, 2018 )
Jo Reta Love Vansickle, age 82 of Willow Drive in Lincolnton, died on Monday, March 26, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2018, at First Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Stanley Spence officiating. Entombment will follow in the Forest Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Vansickle was born October 21, 1935, in Clover, South Carolina, to the late William Campbell Love and Martha Fisher Love. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Vansickle. After graduating from Mars Hill Business College, she worked as an airline stewardess for Eastern Airlines prior to getting married.
She is survived by two sons, James Vansickle, Jr. of the home and Kenneth Vansickle, and wife Susan, of St. Charles, MO; three brothers, William Love, Jr., and wife Catherine, of China Grove, Kenneth Love, and wife Gloria, and Steve Love, all of Southport, NC; and a sister, Carolyn Scott, and husband Garland, of Wilmington.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 201 Robin Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
