Paul Cephas Houser

Mr. Paul Cephas Houser, age 84, of McAlister Road in Lincolnton died on Friday, March 23, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Bethphage Lutheran Church, physical address, 4060 Highway 182, Lincolnton, NC 28092, with Pastor Fred Mitschke officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:30 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday in the Family Life Center of Bethphage Lutheran Church.
Mr. Houser was born on June 3, 1933 in Lincoln County to the late Otis Lawerence and Vergie Ledford Houser. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during the Korean Conflict. Mr. Houser was retired from the Lincoln County Public Schools System where he worked as a guidance counsellor at East Lincoln High School.
Mr. Houser is survived by his wife, Joyce Self Houser of the home; two sons, Tim Houser and wife Mary Ruth of Mullins, SC, Nathan Houser and wife Brenda of Lexington, NC; one daughter, Gayle Houser of Charlotte; one brother, Fred Houser of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Tori Houser and Ethan Houser, Jesse Hubbard. The family would like to express their gratitude to Paul’s nephew, Larry Houser, for his assistance in their time of need.
