Madge Evelyn Armstrong
( October 13, 1925 - March 11, 2018 )
Madge Evelyn Armstrong, age 92, of Lincolnton Rehabilitation, and formerly of Armstrong Farm Way, died on Sunday, March 11, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 18, 2018, at Daniels Lutheran Church with Pastor Dave Fox officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Miss Armstrong was born October 13, 1925, in Lincoln County, to the late Nearness Leroy Armstrong and Katherine Elizabeth Carpenter Armstrong. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a brother, Paul Allen Armstrong, and a sister, Mary Katherine Milstead. Miss Armstrong was a homemaker.
She is survived by three nieces, Cynthia Walton and Diane Stockett, both of Pennsylvania, and Susanne Barbee of High Point, NC; and one nephew, Allen Edward Armstrong of Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
