Larry Crafton Nunnery, age 75, of Lincoln County, died on Wednesday, February 21, 2018.
His funeral service will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2018, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:15 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.Larry was born September 17, 1942 in Sampson County, to the late Charlie and Kirby Averitt Nunnery. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his two sons, Paul Crafton Nunnery and Ricky Franklin Nunnery. Mr. Nunnery was the owner and operator of World Wide Imports. Prior to owning World Wide Imports, Larry was plant manager at Southern Furniture in Catawba County.
He is survived by his wife, Sherri Beason Nunnery of the home; a daughter, Yvonne Knighton, and husband Stuart, of Iron Station; a son, Mel Huffman, and wife Marie, of Hickory; two grandchildren, Caroline Huffman and Benjamin Huffman; and two brothers, Elmer Culbreth and Royce Culbreth, both of North Carolina.
