Robin Helms Austin

Robin Helms Austin, age 57, of 8729 Mull Road in Vale, died on Monday, January 29, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at Bible Gospel Baptist Church with Rev. Tim Dockery officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The body will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Robin was born October 11, 1960, in Lincoln County, to Harold Reeves Helms and the late Mary Ethel Stone Helms. She worked as a cook. Robin had a very strong faith and loved her family and her church family.
She is survived by her husband, Timothy Brian Austin of the home; a daughter, Kristal Austin of Vale; her father, Harold Helms of Boger City; sister-in-law, Kimberely Austin of Vale; and brother, Butch Helms of Lincolnton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bible Gospel Baptist Church, 8621 NC Highway 18, South, Connelly Springs, NC 28612.
