Mrs. Barbara Sue Reynolds Michael, age 76, of Iron Station, died on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at the Brian Center in Lincolnton.

Mrs. Michael was born June 20, 1941 in Lincoln County to the late Colan Blease Reynolds and Pauline Brite Gardner Hawkins.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Emmettt Michael.  Mrs. Michael was a retired high school teacher.

Survivors include two sons, Randy Michael and wife Anna of  Iron Station, Steve Michael and wife Missy of Iron Station; three grandchildren, Jennifer Kolasinski and husband Chris of Lincolnton, Adam Michael and wife Kaylon of Denver and  Brooke Mangum and husband Brad of Granite Falls; five great grandchildren.

Services for Mrs. Michael will be private.
