Stacy Eric Messer, age 59, of 5121 Lineberger Loop Road in Denver, died on Thursday, December 14 2017.
Stacy was born February 8, 1958, in Haywood County, to the late Lowell and Marian Williams Messer. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother, Gerald Michael Messer. He served in the United States Army and then later worked for Freightliner.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia Costner Messer of the home; two sons, Christopher Messer and Joshua Messer, both of Georgia; step-son, Randell Heavner of Denver; step-daughter, Tabatha Heavner of Denver; adopted son, Trey Messer of Denver; half-brother, Burrell Lee of Gastonia; half-sister, Lorraine Finney, and husband Gary, of Waynesville, NC; seven grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
