Obituaries

Mr. Charles Lee Holder, age 86, of Reinhardt Circle in Iron Station, died on Friday, October 27, 2017.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017, at Sharon Baptist Church, 2388 NC Hwy 73, Iron Station, NC, with Rev. David Walker officiating.   The family will receive friends for 30 minutes prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Holder was born November 14, 1930 in Wake County, to the late Alvin and Sara Holder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Holmes Holder and one brother, Cleveland Holder.  Mr. Holder was a welder. 

Survivors include one son, Darryl Holder and wife Robin of Denver; one daughter, Phyllis Primm and husband Kenneth of Gastonia; one sister, Joyce Poole of Raleigh; two granddaughters, Michelle Primm and Cynthia Hegler; one great grandson, A.J. Ruen.
