Barbara Johnson Carter

Barbara Johnson Carter, age 75, of Pebble Bay Drive in Denver, died on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017, in Hollybrook Cemetery, with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating.
Mrs. Carter was born January 11, 1942, in Atlanta, Georgia, to the late Edgar Lee and Kate Hines Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Larry Carter. She worked as an ophthalmic technician.
She is survived by three sons, Scott Carter, and wife Tammy, of Crouse, Todd Carter and Tommy Carter, both of Lincolnton; one daughter, Cammie Elmore, and husband Danny, of Denver; one sister, Kay Mann, and husband Jimmy, of Pittsboro, NC; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Warlick Funeral Home, for the Barbara Carter Funeral Fund, PO Box 1407, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
