Marty Shane Weaver

Marty Shane Weaver, age 48, of Hilltop Road in Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, October 10, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Scott Whitesides and Rev. Clay Ledford officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Marty was born August 14, 1969, in Lincoln County, to Barbara Biggerstaff Weaver and the late James Ray Weaver. In addition to his father, he is also preceded in death by his grandparents and a brother, Rusty Weaver. He worked as a drywall finisher. Marty was an avid fan of the Cowboys and Tarheels, and was a very giving and loving person.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara B. Weaver of the home; a brother, Mark Weaver, and wife Malinda, of Lincolnton; a daughter, Lindsey Weaver of Wilmington, NC; a nephew, Jake Weaver; and a niece, Mailee Weaver.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of one’s choice, or to the Lincoln County Humane Society, PO Box 23, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
