Vicki Wilson Duckworth

Vicki Wilson “Mama Duck” Duckworth, age 69, of 709 Amity Church Road in Iron Station, died on Sunday, September 24, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 28, 2017, at Amity Baptist Church with Rev. Jeff Kincaid officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Duckworth was born October 14, 1947, in Lincoln County, to the late Ray Arthur Wilson and Nannie Mae Christopher Wilson. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Allan M. Duckworth. She worked in food service at Kentucky Fried Chicken, Lincoln County Schools, and Carolinas HealthCare System – Lincoln.
She is survived by three sons, Allan Ray Duckworth of Iron Station, Keith Aaron Duckworth, and wife Roni, of Lincolnton, and Kevin Allan Duckworth, and wife Gina, of Iron Station; one daughter, Virginia Duckworth Carpenter of Iron Station; and one brother, Walter William Wilson of Texas.
