Vickie Gwendolyn Ray Turner

Vickie Gwendolyn Ray Turner, age 66, of Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, September 19, 2017.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Harvey Gates officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:15 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Vickie was born February 3, 1951, to the late Robert Lamar Ray and Willie Reep Ray. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Evelyn Sanders, and a brother, Sonny Ray. She worked as a CNA for Hospice of Lincoln County.
She is survived by two sons, Bobby “Bo” Turner of Lincolnton and Calvin Turner of Greensboro; a daughter, Julie Turner-Hughes of Hickory; a brother, Kenneth Ray of Lincolnton; three sisters, Georgia West of Cherryville, Jane Bronowicz of Lincolnton, and Iotha Parker of Davidson; and four grandchildren, Austin, Hudson, Holden, and Taylor.
