Mary Frances Seate Willis

Mary Frances Seate Willis, age 85, of 2449 Brookwood Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, September 18, 2017.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 21, 2017, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Mike Devine officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Willis was born September 7, 1932, in Robeson County, to the late William Hurley Seate and Vonnie Rouse Seate. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Monroe Willis, and a son, William Russell (Rusty) Willis. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by two sons, R.C. Willis of Iron Station and Jerry Monroe Willis of South Carolina; a sister, Christean Blankenship of Lincolnton; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lung Association of NC, 514 Daniels Street, Suite 109, Raleigh, NC 27605.
