Franklin Larry Cody, age 69, of 3428 Foxmeadow Lane, Iron Station died Friday, August 11, 2017.

His funeral will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2017 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Luke Johnson and Rev. Dean Cook officiating.  Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Monday, prior to the funeral at Warlick Funeral Home.

Mr. Cody was born on September 9, 1947 and was the son of the late Alfred and Bertie Smith Cody.  He was a self-employed log cutter.

Mr. Cody is survived by his wife, Jean Cody of the home; one son, Howard Cody of Iron Station; one brother, Floyd “Cooter” Cody and wife, Pam of Lincolnton; two nephews, Kyle Cody and wife, Amy of Gastonia and Shane Cody of Boone.
